Who are Rotary, and what do they do?
For nearly 90 years Rotary Lift® has been the recognised leader in vehicle lifts, raising the bar (one might say) for hydraulic vehicle lifting equipment. This legendary reputation has set the standard for excellence, toughness, reliability and attention to safety throughout the automotive service and aftercare market.
Everard and Rotary
Everard are the UKs biggest seller, supplier and independent fitters of Rotary lifting equipment. A vehicle lift is, undoubtedly, the centrepiece of most service and repair bays. As an integral part of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks, it is used more times every day than just about any other piece of shop equipment. The market’s need for a lift product that they can trust has led to more Rotary Lift products used in vehicle repair shops throughout the world than any other brand.
With an uncompromising commitment to product quality, testing and safety, Rotary is – without question – the world’s most trusted lift.
The History of Rotary
The success story of Rotary Lift's began in 1924. Inspired by the actions of a barbers chair, company founder Peter Lunati developed the world's first hydraulic vehicle lift. The lift was rotatable. This not only allowed vehicles to drive forward onto the lift. In the same direction, the lift could also be left again - an important argument in the then frequently encountered problem of reversing. The patent for the lift was granted on September 1, 1925, and Rotary Lift was founded.
For more than 75 years, Rotary Lift has grown into the world's largest manufacturer of vehicle lifts. In addition to the headquarters in Madison, IN USA and the German-based European headquarters in Bräunlingen, numerous sales offices around the globe take care of the needs of our customers. Being ahead in the market, Rotary Lift can anticipate local trends and create global standards. Other brands follow, Rotary leads.
